Thank you. Seems they are hard to find and were more common in the early 1900s? Interesting. Have seen China fakes of those somewhere recently.

13 days, 4 big house clearances, lots of treasures, no cash, no gold, a bit of silver, lots of art. no time for photos.

No room left at my lock-up.

Weather too bad to take outside photos.

Lots of sealed booze at one house.

So chillin with the best I've tasted yet.

    On the rocks.

I can't believe I get paid to sample this stuff.:hilarious::hilarious:

You found a Charlie Brown Special aluminum tree! Sweet! Today I went with Mom to her friend's house; the friend has terminal cancer as best as I can figure. Said friend likes my hand-made cards, so I guess I found an excuse to make more.

Such a problem to have. Taste a few for me.

Going through some documents I brought home from the last clearance.

The guy was a WWII RAF Flight Officer, Navigator in Avro Anson planes, seems he did service fighting the Japanese in Burma.

I found navigation and weather logs issued by the Canadian Air Force and tons of confidential maps issued by the US. American Air Force.

His dog tags were British and his buttons and badges are RAF.
    Sadly no medals.

Fibre discs suspended on cotton cord.
RAF still used them until 1999.

Is there a mark in there somewhere? The picture of the clasp is a total blur.
