Maybe check with @Bronwen on this, a lot of cameos are listed as angel skin coral but are not. This one looks suspect to my not-expert eyes :)[/QUOTE]
@BMRT The mano fico is coral in a shade I would call angelskin. The cameo earrings are also coral & some would say angelskin because they are not deep red. The cameo is conch shell, quite frequently mistaken for coral.

If you're reselling, think the earrings will do very well for you.

Teaching people how to tell coral from conch shell seems to be my mission in life. As the linked article says, I believe the confusion was deliberately promoted by dealers of the Victorian era. The queen conch shell is a Caribbean species, so cameos cut in it are not seen very early in the period. Empty merchant ships brought the poor creatures back with them as ballast for the trip home.

I bought mine before the panic set in - on sale with coupons.(LOL)

Brad has been holding out on us! Roycroft metalware for $2 ?! That oil pastel may not be a fortune, but I'd have bagged it too. Love the colors. My grandmother had a bunch of those soapstone vases, but when my dad died my mother got rid of them. Probably worth more now than they were then.

I've been essentially shut down, so no hunting. This turned up in a pile of stuff in my house. Forgot I had it. It's now up on Ebay; I've never seen another one like it.

Is that a fallopian tube or a tapeworm in the forceps?

I'm missing a fallopian tube, long unpleasant story snipped (ahem), but that's probably a suture.

I have sewed up a number of people and the end appears too large for a needle.

OTOH the entire pendant is smaller than a penny, so I wouldn't worry about the scale too much.

Quite frankly as long as you are not spending money you don't have or money that should be reserved for essential things, tell those people to MYOB.

I noticed something this morning while looking at my daily saved searches messages, which BTW are severely down in numbers from usual, there were more sellers with very low FB numbers. My guess is there are folks out there that have been saying forever that they need to sell some stuff on eBay, but they didn't have the extra time. Well now they do & we all know what happens when newbies start selling stuff. ;):rolleyes::rolleyes:

I have a few things saved in my watch section that may end up being good deals. :D

@anundverkaufen Thanks much! Lots of works out there with a couple selling on ebay. I need to replace the scratched plexiglass on this and will probably end up putting it in the store when we reopen. On the to-do pile for now ;)
