No marks, I had hoped to find Bramah on the brass lock as the better quality ones have but nothing there either but for £2 cost it was a nice find.

Seller IDs it as shell, even though background clearly is not.

 

I needed that chart a long time ago. Far too late now.

I went hunting at Savers today. They were packed - half price clothing day. Fortunately however I got there just as they were pricing some jewelry and hanging it up. I found: two matching Judith Ripka sterling necklaces for $3 each, a Gold-Plated Turkish sterling bracelet, and that amber string - probably headed into Mom's stash. On the way in I stopped at the Ill Will and found that damaged bracelet ... with the 585 mark. It's damaged, but the scrappers won't care.

Pugwash. I was enchanted by the name of this small village in Nova Scotia. Unfortunately, the Seagull Pewter Store was closed when I passed through. So
I was happy to find this little pewter trinket box from Pugwash to remind me of this happy memory.

 

Traveled to an antique mall a few hours away. Saw lots of really neat stuff and a few items were added to my hoard. Going to have to return sometime since the place was massive, over 100,000 square feet. McCoy items also posted to McCoy thread with additional photos.

 

@KikoBlueEyes - I surmise your pretty plate was hobbby painted on a Rosenthal blank.

 

Picked this Wallace Nutting seascape yesterday, one I hadn’t seen before, titled “sea ledges”.

Few bits from c shops and flea markets. The blue beads are glass others bead are plastic.The silver pendant is Scottish Ortak. The opal ring is gold washed silver, the other chunky one says 925 on the band but it’s brass! No idea about the other little pendant but thought it has NA stamped motif, the fastening is silver.

 

A few finds ,for the life of me cant find that pottery mark ! How hard could it be ? Well , for me apparently very !
I assume these are flower frogs of some sort

Flower frogs are Portuguese, glasses probably Italian. Would have come with a decanter.

Yes; A pin advocating for Prohibition which was in effect from 1920 through 1933 here in the states although it was advocated for in very popular campaigns starting in the 19th century. There was an incredibly well put together program on American Experience/PBS that went into great detail on the campaign for, the implementation, and the ultimate withdrawal of the prohibition.

There are a few designs of Ohio pinbacks supporting Prohibition campaigns and I already have one of the other designs in my collection. Neat piece of history and they don't come up often in venues off eBay. There was even a prohibition political party which used Prohibition as their campaign platform and ran 3rd party campaigns for president.
