May well be. It was five bucks and in mint condition; I pretty much just snagged it.

Here we go. Dinner is hot, but this is a lot of what I found today. The leather is a big saddle leather Coach purse. There's an 18k ring (headed to scrap) a diamond one (headed to my sister) a pile of sterling, and a really crazy white metal napkin ring. The box is pewter and commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Wall Street Journal. I bought it for what's on the bottom - Tiffany & Co Pewter! For two bucks, why not? The big monster necklace is agate and ..needs researching.

My favorite find you can't see too well; they're AAC wings - sweetheart jewelry earrings from WWII. NFS. Today was Pearl Harbor day; I wore those home.

Some of my recent finds at a local antique mall and an estate auction. Really happy with these additions to my hoard! Have been adding a bit in each of my collecting interests.

Nice pile. I love the 30s green bowl. And anything salt-glazed.

14k gold. I paid a whole $10 for it. When I was growing up there were three synagogues in town. We're down to one, but there are still at least three I can think of in the next town over. I'm trained to look for it, and collect it myself at least for redistribution to people who might use it. It's around here if you keep your eyes open.

Really excited to find this Samuel Fox (Yup'ik, 1935-1983) tree conk carving. It's an early one for him, 1963, and is in excellent shape! Tree conks are a type of bracket fungus that are incredibly difficult to carve. Fox's work is scarce because he died rather young in a tragic car accident. Found in a thrift store in Wasilla, Alaska.

I was trying to figure out from your first photo what the obviously organic material was, then read on. Love it! I collected fungi like this when I was a kid. Would it be considered a (funny) story teller scene?

Say hello to Sarah from all of us.

    Did somebody say Hoard?

So, I grab a bracelet, thinking costume but pretty, then see a mark and think vermeil. I pay a whole pound.

I then spot the 750 mark. I am a happy bunny. I am keeping it. Also got some nice full hallmark silver earrings - the bloke sells them for the scrap price, so two whole pounds.

Person who had the bracelet also had a suspiciously decent looking pendant, but some other sod got it before me. ;)
