Motability sadly isn't something I can use, because they can't provide the type of wheelchair I need. My current chair is perfect as it's made to measure, and the powered wheels will mean I can still get exercise by pushing, but I can tune the wheels individually for my different strengths, and turn them up when I'm having worse days.

 

I've appeared for many people at DWP tribunals and won them. PIP and JSA/ESA. If you go to tribunal you almost always win and it's backdated.

 

It seems to be a lottery. I lost my appeal despite my illness & disability issues which will not improve. I also know others who've gone through the same. I've been housebound for 5 years now due to my loss of PIP high rate mobility.

 

You need to have advocates to help with the forms and appearance at tribunal. There's particular ways to complete them for a start, challenging the medical reports and the points score for each section. It's all pretty scummy since Cameron got ATOS involved.

OP is in the UK. I can buy these all day long for under £200.
