Hi they generally don't put prices on items. Most estate sale runners out here don't. You can point out to them when you meet that an item(s) you don't want to part with for less than a particular price but in general they are savvy with how much to charge people so that it sells and it moves. Most of their customers are resellers so there has to be enough room for a person to buy it and then flip it at a profit. And there has to be enough items to look through to bring in sales. Just think of this way if you can, how many items can you hold onto if they don't sell at the sale? Do you have room or the desire to hold onto many items or have to figure out how to move them out of the house? That could be costly and more work than you would want to deal with. I sympathize with your situation, as I have been thru losing my parents and grandparents and had to figure out what to keep. We didn't have an estate sale, I just took some items that my siblings didn't want that I could keep here in my apt for posterity and for memories. I had to let go of some of my grandparents things because I did not have the room to take them home. All the best to you.
