The postcard was sent to Dr. R.A. Blackshear of Panhandle Texas in December 1908. He is being thanked by R E Mobley (sister)for watching their daughter Ruby.I googled Dr. R A Blackshear and I found a great story about him having a nightmare and from that nightmare discovering gold. He was also called oil crazy as he believed there was an abundance of oil in the area although I don't think he was believed.Oil was discovered two years before his death.I've attached the postcard and the newspaper article relating to it.
