My grandmother used a big antique Imari plate to serve Dutch pancakes, so why not.

Nah, my keris may have a dapur, but that doesn't mean I use them in the kitchen.
And with all that arsenic on them, I don't think it would be a good idea.

 

Well, as was said above, our house was built in the 40s, and is still used for its intended purpose.

Also, beds, dressers, bookcases, desks, chairs, tables, all from the 19th century and all still being used. Hey, we've even got a box from the 17th century that we're putting stuff in.

 

I have some Roseville Mostique low bowls and I used one for forcing paper whites this past Christmas
