When I went there in the 70s there were only five women who still wore traditional dress daily.</p><p>They didn&#039;t wear the usual Zeeland huge caps, but they wore expensive silk and Tibetan wool. The beaded decorations on the front and back of the bodice were handmade by the ladies themselves.
