    Thank you, I do treasure it. Now to shell out the dough to have it cleaned. It spent most of its life with indoor smokers before I got it.

    I imagine that your painting, and all the others of its ilk, followed in the hoofbeats of Sir Edwin Landseer's "Monarch of the Glen." Very romantic, very Scottish in feeling, and comforting to Queen Victoria's subjects who mourned with her at the death of Prince Albert.
