First thought was not Stiffel for this, but you never know. Any chance the letters spell STIFFEL?

Where on the lamp was the sticker?

That kind of location may mean that it only applied to the electrical hardware and not to the lamp as a whole.

It looks like a mid 70s lamp. The sticker outline and location looks like that on some of the Stiffels I have sold. If the switch pull is oddly smooth, I would guess Stiffel, maybe a Rembrandt or Cooper.

It looks like the light switch is the high one. The lower switch(?) which is attached to the pointy tool may be a key may serve another purpose? Does it turn? What's its function? Does it detach? A detachable wind up key as on a music box? Just ornamental?

  9. It has a small nut on the inside holding it on, nothing connected internally to it.

I have a tall table lamp with a milk glass diffuser and it has a silk shade. I think yours may have had a different shade also.

Or this I was trying to figure out a lamp for months one time occasionally looking up different terms. Then one day I was dusting the shade with the light on LOL

    Good point, DeAnne.

Also be sure to examine all the metal sections on the shade for anything written.

Good eye. Now that you've shown that I believe I can see the L at the end.
