It&#039;s marked Aurora and 730 in a square which is an usual number for purity, normally the mark is 750 or 75% gold.</p><p>More intriguing is the fact that my wife&#039;s Grandmother spent several years in India around the 1920&#039;s and brought back many gold items when she returned to Australia.</p><p>Unfortunately another family member has commandeered that lot but it leads me to wonder whether this piece had somehow been misplaced and put into the costume bag by mistake some years ago.
