Featured Chinese wooden cup

    Yes maybe bamboo wood
    It measured 14.5cm x 11cm. Weight 503 grams.

    It's a brush pot (笔筒 / bitong).
    If light weight it's bamboo.
    If heavier wood carved to look like a bamboo section.
    Would be easy to tell on hand, no so much from these photos.

    well, it's a brush pot....but it sure looks strange...
    maybe carved from the thick part of a twin....
