If you’re really stuck on something $15 ain’t bad to get you unstuck. Your vase doesn’t look brand new but the odds of finding a Chinese ceramic diamond in the rough in an auction that’s taking online bids are so small I’m always skeptical. A republic era piece like this would probably still be worth some decent money I’d think. It is nice looking to my eye isn’t trained enough on Chinese ceramics to really mean much. I watch Peters videos nearly every week so I feel like I’m learning more and more but I still haven’t had enough good stuff in my hands to speak with much confidence. I hope yours turns out to be as old as you hope or older.

I only looked at your first link but for me personally if it’s an Asian antique and it’s not shipping out of America or Europe I’m skipping it. You can still get burnt plenty out of USA or EU but you skip some of the risk out of Asia. There are lots of good Chinese things in Japan I hear though, so maybe it would be a worthwhile risk in some situations.
