That image depicts the Chinese immortal Liu Hai and Chan Chu (three-legged toad).

    But then again, WTHDIK.

Nuff, I believe you are correct.
I was able to find a couple of other images that, while not this one, were somewhat the same.
    Thank you.

Thanks to Nuff's suggestion, I was able to find this . . .

    From the article -

    "Whoosh!
A parallel myth. The toad is the pet of Liu Hai, a Taoist sorcerer and alchemist. Chan Chu serves as a living magical carpet. He flies Liu Hai here, there, and everywhere in the world – or as far as we know, in the galaxy or in the past or in the future. But the companions have a problem. While most toads are landlubbers, some enjoy spa pleasures, little hydrous vacations from time to time. When the need for R and R strikes Chan Chu, he hides from his old friend in deep wells. He can only be coaxed out with shiny gold coins, which Liu Hai dangles on knotted threads. Chan Chu bites, Liu Hai hauls up, and they proceed on their usual skyway roaming."

Messi, you recognized it as a frog or toad. Still, it has an adorable nose ... and an interesting story attached

With any knowledge of the Immortals, I would never have found it without Nuff's help.

Dragging this back up again because I found something odd on it.

Although it is barely visible from the front, there is something on the back.
I have shown it both with, and without, backlighting.
Any thoughts (remember, this is done on silk)?

I haven't listed it because I'm still not sure what that line is.
Fairly certain it's not a repair, because that would show more from the front.
Maybe some kind of water or other liquid?
I hope it isn't from some bug damage.

It's most likely a slub in the woven warp.
    Happens a lot with silk...
