Nice item. I don't know if you know about this group but they are pretty helpful. Screenshot_20240622-060437.png

Nice lot. Less than £4 a piece.

Here's a link to H & R Daniel cup handle shapes just for interest: https://danielcc.org/cups.php As mentioned above, other factories made the same shape. The little interior decoration is unusual to me. The British Pottery and Porcelain Discussion group on FB may be able to ID it. I think you scored rather well! If one was to give away the items, I would take the 18th c Chinese teabowl. Delightful painting.

Wow very crazy. I'll have to start listing my stuff on there. I got £10 for the last two I sold.

think it might be time not to buy from local auctions but to sell to, 2 late 19th century pieces would probably sell online for about 65 for the 2 i reckon

    madness

if you google imaged this one you could pick one up for about £70

Geez, all I know is that if I put stuff like that in an auction, I'd get $5 after all the auction fees are totted up. But, if real, stupid money for those items. I do think that there is a lot more impulse buying on line than when you actually have to get up and go to the auction house, view the stuff, make your decisions and then bid. I rarely shop online.
