    I doubt this to be the work of a master. The human hand on the horse's shoulder is too large, out of proportion. If that's a damsel, her forearm and hand look masculine. The toes on the foot are nondescript, contrary to some sketches attributed to Le Braun online. Line quality in general is not detailed with enough chiaroscuro, but all resides in a medium shade of gray.

    If the damsel on horseback is the actual sketch you will bid on, get a professional museum to investigate it further for you.

    The last one you posted looks more believable, although I'm not convinced this is authentic either. The devil is in the details, there's something not quite right about the back end of the horse, but other drawing elements are better than the damsel.

    I don't understand what I'm seeing. Is the woman on the horse the piece you are considering? That's shown elsewhere online attributed to Francoise Alexandre Verier.

    Thank you, MOS, @Pablo Pikachu , the horses in the last 2 red sketches you posted do not match, it's obvious that a different artist drew them.
