They locate sellers on other venues (in our case it was on eBay) and they vet the seller and the items and (with your permission) put them on their website. It actually works out rather well, recapturing the luxury buyers who have abandoned eBay because of the counterfeit problem. We sold a LOT of very high end stuff via Tradesy and they handle all of the customer service - including returns - they pay for the return and they keep the item.
