WWII teapot by Crown Ducal which we bought a month ago.

British Museum has a similar one and notes: "Dyson & Horsfall were general merchants in Acqueduct Street, Preston. This patriotic teapot was made for Dyson & Horsfall to mark the handing over of aluminium stocks, such as domestic cookware and tableware, needed for armaments. Identical teapots are held by the Harris Museum, Preston, and the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge"

I have kept this old souvenir China shoe that belonged to my Grandmother, or maybe Great-grandmother, not entirely sure, but think this may date to pre WWI. Germany "donut" mark on bottom.
