Would the originals be stained wood to get the correct Native American skin color or were they just a solid dark wood? These were definitely hand carved and have some age based on minor dings/divets in the wood.</p><p><br /></p><p>These measure 8 1/4&quot; tall, 7&quot; wide and 5 1/4&quot; deep and appear to me made in 3 parts... the head, the bottom and the side.
