Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Slightly off topic, but I like the posters in the second link.

Did best I could but found these marks on the Czech brooch I am thinking it is silver seen on the pin stem 00 and these marks that was on the clasp and it was hard to take a picture off being it is so tiny. Not sure which way they would go but maybe someone will know the last picture not sure what is on it but will try to clean it some

Your pin stem probably says 800. That's one of the Czech silver standards.

Ownedbybear I though the same or 900 but just a 00 nothing before it so I will go with 800 to be safe

Not sure if this will be helpful or not, but I was just browsing through a catalog of marks posted earlier today on this thread
    https://www.antiquers.com/threads/a-few-marks.3908/

There's a JCK mark shown as #33 on the page that is the 3rd attachment of 4. Says it's the mark of J C Klinkosch of Vienna, Austria. I remembered the mark your showed that appears on the clasp in post 23 ^. Given the lack of space
on which to imprint the mark, that might account for the squooshed looked as compared to the illustration?

it does look like J and a K to me but the frame looks different maybe that it is such a small space?

I did notice that almost "ticket stub" look to the end of the cartouche on yours, but didn't want to rule out the possibility. Is this piece from the same man with the Scheid brooch?

They're hers. I tracked down a pair new on card with the same construction. Different design on the front. These have to be pretty old. These came on a card and the card was signed.

thank you eveleyb30 so they are Burch? I seen some close to mine and I think they said 70's before she made it big

Sure looks like it. The front isn't definitive, but I've seen vermeil pieces with identical piercing on the back. Search for Laurel Burch Sterling Earrings and you'll find some old ones made the same way. I'm not sure they're 70s, but they come from before she made china and handbags and the like. You can't be 100% sure without the markings, but I don't think anyone will complain if they're listed that way. I think she had a lot of early stuff made in China or something; it's their style of enamel.

The bracelet looks like it has chalcedony glass links. It may be actual chalcedony as they used it quite a bit in these designs, the best way to tell is to test it.

Calico how do you test it?

Loupe it and look for bubbles or random irregularities. Glass will be uniform and may have bubbles. The stone won't be totally perfect under a 20x or better loupe, and won't have bubbles. Beyond that, a gem tester in a pawn shop can test for glass.

I can't see the mark that well but here is a Czech marks thingy I have used to find the purity of my Czech jewelry. I think I see a rabbit in your pic?
