I've always been fascinated with antiques, the history behind old items has always interested me, making me wonder about the previous owners and how they used to use the pieces or how they came to own them.

What promoted me to look into joining this forum was me finding some old books of my father's. He was an avid reader as was his mother, and I caught book worm fever myself at a very young age. I was helping my Mother clean out her basement and I stumbled upon a box of some books I don' ever remember seeing in our library growing up. All of these books are first editions (I believe) and through my research I haven't been able to find any similar copies out there. I am wanting to find out if there is any interesting information about the individual printings of the books themselves, any value aside from sentimental, or perhaps some of the authors (aside from Charles Dickens!) If anyone could help me out it would be very appreciated! I included a link to the photo album I have so it' a bit easier to see everything together, I hope that's ok!

https://imgur.com/gallery/xM3J0[/QUOTE]
