I've known her to have a cameo listed on eBay that was ultimately sold through Bonhams. Have seen this multiple times. However, the evidence of the dirt does suggest that in this case she was the buyer.

The rambling about German crystal is one of the strangest descriptions I've ever seen. Sounds like they gave the job to a bright fifth grader.

 

Or an AI? I've seen similar bright fifth-grader descriptions of estate sales lately.

 

A friend calls an item like this "overdescribed". In my experience it means the seller is clueless.

One relatively recent even with that tube hinge, I reckon, she's that snub nose. The other is beautifully carved.

 

"The other" is molded resin. Ponytail girl is 50s or later, probably set in Italy, with that rather anachronistic hinge. Clasp is more accurate for dating.

The two girls had to be resin - flat back. I've seen that cameo before too,the exact image. File them under German Headband Girl.

What do the holes on the helmet shell ponytail girl give away? Looks like someone got happy with a Dremel tool. The resin cameo with the jugate composition of 2 women + bird also bears signs of drilling at the breastbone of the woman behind

 

I've seen this one described as sisters.

 

Do you think the 'RG' on the frame of Ms. Ponytail indicates rolled gold? Or something in Italian?
