Featured C. Benolt oil painting.

hi i have a c benolt sunflowers oil painting and an oil painting by bruno.does anyone know if these are valuable?

I have the original of the 3-D oil eagle in flight by Benolt. Have had it authenticated and the signature verified. Mine is appraised over $6000.00 and is very rare. Are you sure yours is not a copy and have you had it authenticated? Find it hard to believe that he painted two identical paintings.

 

I don't understand how are Benolt pieces selling for $1000's ? I had a sunflowers oil in the past and sold for $100.
What exactly is rare and unusuall with Benolt's eagle paintings ? I see quite of few of them on google.
For $6000 maybe the eagle is some special kind.

I have two sunflower paintings of his picked them up both up for £30 framed.

 

And somewhere in my Today's searchings for a new member, I DID see that C. Benolt was supposed to be from Haiti, but that's ALL that was said about the artist!! Maybe someone can pursue that direction......there is very little said about him except that everyone loves his work!!

 

His full name is Charles Redmond Benolt, doesn't sound Haitian, but there may be more Benolts. Charles Redmond Benolt lived in Florida and was the painter of the paintings in this thread:

I have a beautiful large oil painting of an upclose soaring eagle with another eagle flying toward the other eagle in a snow capped mountain setting. It is signed C. Benolt. I wish I could post a picture of this beautiful work of art. Could anyone assist me in researching my piece of art please?

We have a similar painting.... I believe Benolt is/was an oil painter from Florida. His specialty was Southwestern still art, Dolphins and sunflowers. I've also seen some village scenes and pottery. ( I have yet to find a bio) We bought ours for $300. And that's what I have seen many paintings go for. He uses some striking colors and light and shadow effects. Samples of the pics are in the Art media folder.... They uploaded ok but I can get to select them to add to this post. Too large?
