    Little bit of an update:

    I heard back from the Baseball HOF and they sent me this article on Patys Gharrity and it says he joined the "Beloit Nationals" Semi-Pro Baseball Team in 1912. He left the team in 1913 to play for another Beloit team, before joining the Pros!

    Here is the article! :)

    Wow, playing around on the internet to look up information on my grandfather, Patsy Gharrity and HOW GREAT this article and photo are! Our family has very little history before Grandpa's start in the majors so this is unbelievable. Thank you!!!
