Nice. It is cast, not hammered. Is it brass or bronze?

Here is the back of the one I showed above, it is handmade in the old style, from a sheet of hammered silver.

It's white metal of some sort: that's an oldish photo on a day when the light was a bit pants.

It could be silver plated cast brass, I had a bracelet like that which was. Charlie's is more detailed, but also looks cast. Maybe it has a cast silver back?

The silver ones I have are all marked, and the details are appliqués on a textured surface:

The backs are smooth, thin and slightly concave:

Gorgeous, thanks kyra.:kiss::kiss: I'll be watching, and could be bidding. But I have been buying a lot lately....
The bracelet reminds me of my mother's Tunisian bangle, which is now mine. She lured me onto the path of ethnic jewellery collecting, from which there is now return.:arghh:
I can still picture her wearing it.:)

Norwegian, Celtic, Moorish, Arabic all have intricate designs. If a seller doesn't know the different styles, they just take a pick and hope they are right.

So I did what I always do, browse other listings. Shouldn't have done that.:banghead: Didn't I say I had been buying a lot lately?:banghead::banghead:
So I bought this one, silver with mark and Med red coral :shame::

How could I just leave it there for only 20 euros?:angelic:
I hope it fits, the seller photographed it behind a ruler, which means there is a distorted view of the actual size. If it doesn't fit I'll sell it.

I need more arms for all my bracelets....

Bargain!, I like it actually, I think it needs something like the coral to make it pop

    Funny how english is.....
    SIDEBAR...

AJ writes...."the path of ethnic jewellery collecting, from which there is now return."

So, yes...off the cuff you'd think she meant to write...." No Return "

    BUT...
she then writes about the new purchase, " If it doesn't fit I'll sell it."

So.....was 'now return'...a Freudian Slip....that alludes to the fact that her vast collection of ethnic jewellery has increased in value so that it 'now' offers her a good 'Return'....on her investment ?????

Or, am I just sitting here pontificating on a spelling error , that is in fact.....just that !!:):):)

I am glad my typo served a purpose, keeping your mind sharp.:D:hilarious:
Yes, it was a typo.:shame: There are at least two typos in every sentence I write.:arghh: Mostly the wrong letter sequence or fingers insisting on hitting the wrong keys, but some are more creative.
I try to correct them all, but some of the little (beep) manage to escape.
