The ceramic chunks are "ceramic media" normally used in quantity, in fluid, in vibratory or other deburring devices.
Ok...first... I've put some things where they should go already. Am I cracking up? Have you sent me a gauge or not??? - I saw that part and didn't think much about it except it was broken loose from a cylinder. Is it from a bazooka or shaped charge? - What are the curved pieces with spring clips? I LOVE them and hopefully I'll get to build, or buy and modify someone else's, Rat Rod! They'd be great in use on one!
If u didn't get one, might be cause with all the photos there wasn't room; I thought all boxes got that but maybe not.
I got a silver steel disc about that size with broken welds around it. Did you send me a gauge too???
The metal things with four dips and four springs are WWII Navy 40mm AA machine gun ammo clips; most have info stamped on or cast into the back. You can pull up any number of WWII war footage videos of ships fending off Kamakazi attacks and you will see gun crews loading the full 4-round clips into the top of the gun.
"Did you send me a gauge too???" Sry not sure what is meant there, think everyone got a machinist snap gauge used as a go-no-go for final dimensions of a part. Looks a bit like a C-clamp with no screw. When in doubt post a pic and I can ID with more certainty.
YES!!! NOW I recognize them! Cool!!!! ~ Everything was fabulous!!! I was amazed at all the photos and medals. I may have already said but I gave all the stickers to the 9 year old girl next door.
Thanks to everyone for reimbursing the postage quickly, that leaves me open to possibly doing it again, perhaps some more narrowly specialized offerings.
