Thanks for the Kudo Greg:happy:. I saw this yesterday but just didn't have much time. I think it's been pretty well pinned down by Brad at this point. I was a little surprised to see the prices in the links. This must be a fairly desirable Hutch to the local and regional collectors. Most east coast hutches sell in the 5 to 20 dollar range but a rare "local" can often bring several times that. Western hutches are scarcer and more sought. ANY territorial Hutch is serious money. (Just a tip;)) The original stopper, in this case, is not a particular plus. They're found with intact stoppers all the time. You know it's a genuine antique because Hutchinson stoppers were outlawed by the food and drug act of 1906. I would wash it out but the iridescence will not come out. This could be pro cleaned but cost prohibitive. Let the buyer get it done. The value is surely impacted but I think it will still preform fairly strongly. Cracks and chips have a far more negative effect. Like I said, this can be fixed if desired. Chips and cracks are forever. As for the others, the patent medicine is a great example of a 19th. century quack medicine, circa 1885. It's blown in a mold with an applied and tooled lip. Unfortunately it's fairly common. Top right looks like a very late hand blown cosmetic or flavoring bottle circa 1900-1905, VERY common. Middle left, machine made ink, circa 1920, very common. Middle right cement/mucilage, circa 1920, very common. Bottom, ketchup circa same. VC. In other words, ya got one outta seven but that's OK. That one is a very cool piece...and the med is kinda cool to.
