I have a stunning teapot that is marked with Summer Rose inside a cartouche. I'm trying to determine the manufacturer. I know it's a longshot but any help would be appreciated. I've googled like crazy and did find a creamer that was similar on Pinterest produced by Clews but different enough to not be the producer of my pattern. The Clews creamer was from eBay but I couldn't find it on eBay or on Terapeak. The creamer I saw had a banner like decoration running throughout the pattern. This teapot doesn't. I realize this beauty has a lot of damage but I just cant make myself throw it away. The handle, spout and finial(replaced with a wood one) are missing along with numerous chips. Also, does the incised lines mean it's a second? I posted this on The Transferware Collector's Club website message board a couple days ago with no response. I've checked Lovers of Blue & White website with no luck. I know that someone would love to tackle this as a repair project. It is such a beauty. I've had one response on the pgp board saying they thought that it may Clews and that the scratch marks didn't indicate a second.
