Some you win and some you lose. I bought two blind bags of mixed jewellery from a charity shop. Think this one was a win :) Pretty Jasper Conran purple necklace and unsigned green glass necklace. Tested these and pretty sure these beads are the cherry amber Bakelite people get so excited about. Random silver bits, pendant, earrings and charm. This green chunky bead necklace was the biggest surprise as the 16mm orb clasp is sterling and signed JKA. Think the beads are coated glass of some sort? The odd pale green teardrop pendant is 14ct rolled gold and signed K&L- Any ideas on the gemstone? Cool St Christopher lid and a random piece of Eloxal type chain made into a necklace with sterling clasp and chain. The most filthy piece of jewellery I have EVER dealt with was this 9ct gold chain. If it was anything other than gold I would have binned it. Yes, all that gunge is accumulated filth. Someone wore this every day for years by the look of it. It took vinegar, two overnight water soaks, 15 runs through the ultrasound (and multiple hand washes)to remove it. A dental pick wouldn’t even scratch the surface of it it was like concrete :vomit: ( still got your dinner?) And afterwards! 5g of gleaming happy gold :) Thankyou for looking :)
