[QUOTE="aaroncab, post: 831181, member: 3974"]I picked up this lovely Blenko (at least believe it to be Blenko -it has Blenko sticker from the right time period) penguin yesterday - he's been attached to a little lamp base. The penguin is the larger size, 14" tall. Online searches and looking at the Blenko catalogs from the 80's show these were made from about 1980-1988. Most of the ones I'm seeing online are either blue or clear. I'm having a hard time finding other Blenko penguins in satin/frosted.

Found this link to a supposedly frosted clear/crystal one - but no pics:

https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/blenko-large-frosted-penguin-162663537

I've found a few amber penguins but none with the reddish head/beak that mine has, and none frosted/satin.
