They somehow manage to be corporate owned, yet have a local feel and the staff are lovely. I managed to actually get a pub lunch last week. Calamari then fish and chips with proper tartare sauce, my companion had home made soup, fish cakes and a pudding so huge that we shared it. Thirty quid for two and we waddled out.
