Yes I'm absolutely interested in the lot for the other one, I'd fix it up as best I can and wear it.

 

There will be another lot, with items that are more likely to give you a good return. Too many low quality cufflinks and tie bars in this one. Overhere those don't sell, people only buy the silver or gold ones. It is probably the same in France.

I don't. The crystals or whatever they are, though nicely cut, don't look like diamonds, and the back is closed. The pearls look glued in, which you wouldn't see with real pearls. The beads on either side of each pearl aren't functional, just decorative.

Im still undecided about the broke brooch, its not gone anywhere yet so I have a little while to ponder.

 

The second brooch looks like embroidery in silver form. Very cool.

 

The broken one is nothing special to me, I think you could find similar without the damage inexpensively. But the other one is really cool!
