Authentic Staffordshire Neptune figure?

    The more educated Dealers of old invested quite a bit of money in reference books.They'd take you to the back room and some of their libraries were quite impressive.
    I'd imagine some of our more learned members still have those volumes.
    PS-One of our local Thrifts gets a fair amount of English 'chintz' for some reason.I've bought 6 or 7 pieces (just cups/saucers) cheaply there,nothing earthshaking that i know of though.

    If you've a good library near you, you'll probably find some good reference books there.
