These pictures have me stumped. Parts of them look like they could be block printed and others look like they were painted(or difficult to block print). I bought them at the Habitat store. Originally they had a sticker for $50 each and then they put a sticker over that for $20. When I took them up to the counter the lady said, "these are worth around $800 each". I thought that was strange since they didn't really know what they were. I do know sometimes people say their things are worth a lot when they drop them off so that the store doesn't sell them too cheap. I can tell that they are done on high quality paper, I can see the fibers. Might be Mulberry? If they are block printed, I would lean towards them being Japanese, if painted Chinese. I don't think they are particularly old, probably less than 50 years. No information on the back, modern frames. I tried an image search but too many things came up. I was hoping a couple extra sets of eyes might be able to sort things out. Thanks in advance for your help.
