    I couldn't figure out what this whole exchange was about at first. When I caught it, had as big a laugh as at anything in the funnies thread. And now I keep hearing the Beach Boys in my head.

    A tazza around here is usually on a table in a foyer for callers to leave their calling cards in ... according to my Grandma,

    Love it but my first thought was "where's the glass bowl?"
    Maybe it doesn't come with one.:bag:

    It's a beautiful thing. Do you have it on display? (Wondering since you did put felt on the feet.) Just curious...

    It sits on a shelf in a curio cabinet, in good company. :)

    I don't like it. it's a mishmash of styles from "earnest" looking face that was often used in Vienna Secession and by Mathildenhöhe artists; and then these ivy leaves in Glaswegian style and the berries in Deffner style. the noodle style of certain elements is French incfluence.
