Featured Art Glass Beaded Necklace with raised image of Horse Head Czech?

The horse heads do appear to be raised above the surfaces of the beads. But will wait for @Tonettedogs to come back with more information...

 

I checked the beads and they are glass. Cold to the the touch and they clink against my teeth. lol. The horse heads seem to be pressed into the glass if that makes sense. When sliding my finger on the bead I can feel the bump of the horse head and looking at the beads fro the side you can see the raised image of the horse.

 

In 50 years of collecting (...I started young...) I've never seen anything like these.

They do look to be pressed into the glass and I could see the slight raised elements of the horses heads from your photograph. This is why I asked if these could have been finished on 2 sides and rolled on as a part of a final process? I'm not sure how else hot glass would stay spherical otherwise? Really, I HAVE NO IDEA, JUST GUESSING because it's fun.. ...... and I hope someone who KNOWS how this effect was achieved, will come along to enlighten me!

As much as I like these and they are nicely detailed, I don't see these as old or antique beads. I wonder if the horse heads and hardware are brass or if they have an additional gold wash over them? @Tonettedogs can you tell what metal(s) these may be?

 

Sorry antidiem! I am just seeing your message. The hook on clasp and metal connecting the beads seems to be a brassy type of metal. Sorry I'm not being too helpful. LOL
