    You did not waste our time.
    Your piece is very lovely.

    Brad was just pointing out that the majority of posters are from the US and tend to see things from a US point of view.
    We have many Brits on the board. We are an international board, with people joining from all over. It just helps us know where people are posting from. It was not meant to be an attack on you.

    I think if you hang around you will find us quite friendly and a lot of fun. We really are an eclectic group.

    I'd like to point out that you brought up a term that many of us here had not heard of "Moon" and "Cloud" dresser. See post #15.

    So your post actually taught us something.

    That’s nice of you, I felt a bit dense as didn’t realise the replies were coming from the US. Anyway my moon dressing table is beautiful and would love to hear from anyone else who owns one wherever in the world they may be!

    Here is a photo of mine. It is a 1930 waterfall pattern with a moon mirror.

    I'm in the UK, which is why your dressing table was so familiar.

    I'll admit I did realise you were over here: the clue was in your light switches and radiator. ;)

    This board is an almighty mix of countries, so do stay around.

    That is nearly identical (including the pulls) to my grandparents’ waterfall furniture set, which included dressers and a vanity with the big, round mirror. They purchased it in Connecticut in around 1941. We got a lot of use out of it, and then donated the set to Goodwill a few years ago.
