Odd that it's not marked, but it's an Evans vanity case compact, the fancy hinged ring with the little flowers is distinctive, and unless stamped as such, unlikely to be solid silver - here's one with a similar motif on an enamel placque (though the ring is broken off, a make-do chain added).
