Apple shaped sugar bowl sterling and glass

    I assume my base is original since it is shaped like an apple and fits perfectly. The pontil is ground off. No maker mark on the glass.

    I have this and still trying to figure out whats the use for it.And it does look so similar to your item

    I think Hunting treasure id’d it correctly as a jelly jar, with a slot for a spoon, by William Durgin. Is the glass on yours also shaped like an apple?
