Although the frame is stamped Made in Denmark, "Fasing" doesn't seem to be a Danish surname. I searched paintings signed "Fassing" and "Fausing", but didn't find anything under those names either.  1946 is also written on the wood frame. I can't definitely identify any of the letters from the actual signature on the front of the painting, except maybe an S, l, and n in the first name, and the F in the last name, but maybe it's a T? I realize there's nothing unique about this painting -- maybe it was done by a hobbyist, student, or one of the many unknown artists, but I decided to post it here in case anyone recognizes the signature.[/QUOTE]
