Album is quite large (12 X 17 inches, closed) and contains 35 full color prints of Japanese military operations from the start of the Pacific war on December 7th, 1941, to the fighting going on in 1943. Included are rare prints by leading artists of the day such as TSUGUHARU FOUJITA who did the PEARL HARBOR print at the beginning of the volume (see scans #1 &amp; #2). Other prints include: ATTACK ON SINGAPORE, SINKING OF THE HMS REPULSE &amp; PRINCE OF WALES, fighting in MALAYA, GUAM, BORNEO, HONG KONG, SURRENDER OF WAKE ISLAND, MIDWAY, TAKING ATTU &amp; KISKA, etc. The volume ends with a superb print depicting Japanese warplanes over NEW YORK CITY (see scan #12). Prints are various sizes but average about 9 X 11 inches each. Album has stains and wear but the prints are in great shape. A rare Japanese propaganda album, especially with the Foujita print of Pearl Harbor and the New York image. GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC.
