Thank you! If it is Japan, what year/years do you think it is from?

    Sorry, I have no idea...
To be honest, I have not seen such a reign mark (Tai Ming Chenghua)before.

From what I can see from the bottom, glaze, pattern, I think it should be at least 50 years old.

You cannot even totally trust christie's or sotheby.
    https://www.christies.com/important-chinese-snuff-bottles-21239.aspx?saletitle=
For this sale of snuff bottles in christies, I recogonize most pieces. For some pieces I even know who draw it. (I don't want make more comments on Christie's, they must have some problem otherwise how can they keep selling so many repulicas again and again in the near few years. Compare with Christie's, Sotheby is much better.)

    upload_2018-4-3_0-8-49.png How about this piece?

    upload_2018-4-3_0-9-44.png make it clear

My friends recognize the snuff bottles which are made by them in that sale of christie's.

I remember I talked with how to make bronzeware looks antique.
Also, be aware of Chinese antique Jade.... that is the antique area where water is deepest.
If anyone of you have a new jade and own a farm, you can try one way to make it looks really old. Cut the belly of a cow, sheep, or whatever big grass-eating livestock, put the jade inside of its belly. Let the jade suck the pneuma of that livestock, the livestock can still live well but its pneuma will help to raise jade fast. After the livestock was slaughtered several years later, take that jade out, that jade will looks exactly an old jade. The longer jade stays inside the livestock, the better effect it can be. That's the way they called bood-sacrifice.

Sorry Asian Fever, just one more please: You said if this is 1st possibility - This one is made in Early to mid Qing Dynasty in order to memorize the Ming Dynasty.
So it would have to be a lot more than 50 years old right?
I ask because I'd like to list it on eBay but with something like this - especially with something like this - I want to be as accurate as I can (I just broke 1500 transactions & was just made a power seller with a 100% positive feedback - so I want to keep that score!). Is there a way to tell how old it is - or maybe I will list in antique Chinese pottery and in antique Japanese pottery, with both possible descriptions?
Thanks again - I really appreciate all the help from everyone; I posted about it in the first place because I was thinking of throwing it away before I thought to double check here first!

If it is the first possibility, yes, it's old.
But after I found some reference on website especially some japanese websites, I found these information(not many plates like this, and they all look similar condition). And they could be a lot newer, but not in the near 50 years IMO.
