It is my lifelong sword of Damocles.</p><p>Apart from that I have been, and am still being, confronted with cancer, dementia and other illnesses in loved ones, just like so many people here.</p><p>So yes, I understand life and death pressure, albeit in a different way. But one of the ways to cope with it has been my sense of humour. That can leave me in dark hours, but I always work hard to get it back, because it works like a medicine.
