[QUOTE="stfx12, post: 160770, member: 2517"]Hi Everyone, I was in the market for a small rocking chair and I came across this little one at a yard sale. I paid $10 for it. The older lady who sold it says she has had it for some time, and said it was in the family but didn't know where it originally came from. Not sure what kind of wood the chair is made out of, but it's pretty lightweight. The chair apparently got a lot of use and was loved because the rockers are worn pretty good underneath. There is a small line that runs on the bottom diagonally, I thought it was two pieces of wood but I couldn't fine the corresponding line on the top so maybe it's just a crack in the wood or finish? The only thing I know is that it's a ladies nursing rocking chair, that's about it! If anyone has info about this chair it would be much appreciated! Thanks for your time. .
