    It appears the Hitler picture shows him being shot through the head, for whatever that is worth.

    If anyone is interested in more about Harvey Thomas (1920-1987) and his 1960s guitars such as the Maltese Cross, here are some links.
    He was quite a character. Notably, he was the first maker I know of to use eccentric body shapes such as the iron cross, later much imitated, as in the guitars used by Kiss.
    Harvey made a number of double and triple-neck instruments also.
