Welcome to the forum D2r. I like the llama.:) Nice lamps. Don't worry about posting vintage items, some people even post brand new items. We generally know more about antiques, but since many of us are of a (good) vintage long past, we often recognize vintage items. I got it too, and thought the post was nice and humourous. Good idea, you can see how Phaik does it, she is one of our resident emoji experts.:peeking::) Vintage in the strict sense just means wine year, vin is wine. In the broader sense it means old, but more recent than antique. When selling something, it is generally considered good form to include the period or (an estimate of) the year. When speaking in general, just vintage is used, as D2rgirl did correctly. A vintage forum would not just deal with items from 1936, for instance. Maybe it could also mean a forum with members of 'a certain age', which I'm sure some of us can relate to.:pompous::hilarious::hilarious:
