It looks like a bedroom chair. The price that was paid we are unsure of but it can't have been too much as we would have remembered if it was expensive. The measurements are as follows. The height is 81.5cm including the backrest and 37cm up to the seat. The length from the back to the front of the seat is 34cm and the width from the side to the other side of the seat is 40cm. I was trying to figure out the era and the wood that it was made out of. My assumptions are that its an Edwardian chair that is made out of either mahogany or rosewood but I could be wrong. There are no names or labels on the chair. The chair overall appears to be in good condition and does not appear to be damaged aside from one of the small circular things at the back of the chair that is level with the seat has been ever so slightly pushed in a tiny bit. I'm trying to find out the value of this chair and also find out more information about the chair. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
