This is the second piece of chipped Rookwood I've pulled out of the same thrift store in a 4 day period. Someone wasn't kind to some nice pottery. Anyhow - I'm posting more to compare to the other piece that I found right next to it on the thrift store shelf - which has very similar glaze - but is unmarked other than an impressed number.

~

The Rookwood butterfly vase - about 5" tall:

The other vase - about 8" tall:

Next to each other:

Wondering if anyone has any ideas on the second vase as to maker - the glaze color is almost identical to the Rookwood, but obviously it's not Rookwood.

Many thanks once again!

Aaron

This is the second piece of chipped Rookwood I've pulled out of the same thrift store in a 4 day period. Someone wasn't kind to some nice pottery. Anyhow - I'm posting more to compare to the other piece that I found right next to it on the thrift store shelf - which has very similar glaze - but is unmarked other than an impressed number. ~ The Rookwood butterfly vase - about 5" tall: The other vase - about 8" tall: Next to each other: Wondering if anyone has any ideas on the second vase as to maker - the glaze color is almost identical to the Rookwood, but obviously it's not Rookwood. Many thanks once again! Aaron
