The imagery looks a little more Dogon to me though. Dogon carvings often feature horses of which this has none though. I have very little knowledge on these cultures overall. I assume someone that does will be able to tell a lot more based on the characters. Not sure what the guys with the diamond pattern carving are. One looks like a double snouted crocodile character maybe? Guessing it’s 50s-80s maybe, but not too sure here. Hoping older but these things can be tricky to date. Figured I would share and see what some folks with more African knowledge say. It’s about 17” tall.[/QUOTE]
